Getting started

TeroSmartHub help

Short answers for your first tasks. Your workspace shows only the tools allowed by your role.

Last updated: 4 November 2026

Start with one small step

  1. Sign in, complete your profile and choose the right property or asset context.
  2. Register one property or asset, then check that its saved details reload.
  3. Open TeroSmart workspace search to find a module or read its Page guide.
  4. Review saved maintenance dates, upload available records and open Reports · Output studio when ready.

Existing users return to their authorised workspace. Missing handover documents do not block getting started.

How do vehicle document renewal reminders work?

Open Asset registration and the supported vehicle papers section. Saved expiry dates generate reminder dates 30 days before, one day before and on expiry. Check the stored trigger dates, recipient and email status. Scheduled processing must be enabled and working. Provider acceptance is not proof of inbox delivery; confirm delivery independently.

Does downloading a calendar prove an alert will arrive?

No. Import the context calendar into your calendar application and check its notification settings. The export requests a one-day alert but cannot confirm device notification delivery. Calendar export cannot confirm email delivery.

Are reports generated and approved automatically?

Use Reports · Output studio to inspect the actual saved draft, generation timestamp, version and approval state. A scheduled due check or generated draft is not professional approval or proof that a PDF opens. Open the authorised file using the displayed password instructions and verify its content. Keep draft and approved versions distinct.

I just finished building my home. Where do I start?

Start with one property. Open Overview and use Properties & contexts to choose or register your location where your role permits. Then collect the available drawings, manuals and warranties. Missing documents do not block using TeroSmartHub.

How do I organise equipment or assets?

Open Assets for the selected property. Review existing records before registering another one. Use the available registration controls and keep the name, location and model information accurate. Save and confirm the record before leaving.

What does PPM mean?

PPM means planned preventive maintenance: work arranged in advance to help equipment remain serviceable. Review the actual equipment requirements and recorded dates. Confirm recurrence and the next due date before relying on a schedule.

How do I track a fault or repair?

Open Work orders to review existing work before creating a duplicate. Use the request or work controls available to your role. A task is complete only when the required evidence, inspection and closure steps have been satisfied.

What are as-built drawings and where do records go?

As-built drawings record how a building was actually constructed, including recorded changes. Keep the relevant final revision. Plans & data holds property records; the Home Handover Guide explains what to request. Upload alone does not verify a document.

How do I prepare and open a report?

Open Reports · Output studio, review the available source information, then generate or edit the appropriate controlled draft. Approval is separate. Read the displayed opening-password instructions and retain the version reference. Generation does not mean the report has been professionally verified.

Are reminders automatic?

Delivery depends on the services configured for your workspace and successful scheduled execution. A saved schedule or reminder setting does not prove an email was delivered. Check actual delivery evidence before treating reminders as operational.

Where do I review costs?

Open Finance to review recorded costs for the selected property. Use actual records and the controls allowed by your role. Existing approval and financial rules still apply; this guide does not calculate or approve transactions.

What does an inspection record show?

An inspection records what was checked, observed and supported by evidence. Pending or uninspected items are not confirmed satisfactory. Refer technical and safety concerns to an appropriately qualified professional.
